Creating a useful and beautiful object from raw material drawn from the earth inspires me. As an artist, I pay close attention to my creative process. I am most deeply myself in this quiet, meditative place – focused and committed to each step of the process, aware that each piece is unique and dedicated to the creation of each form. When I’m working, I'm like water flowing down a river, accommodating the current and the twists and turns. Then I make my way upstream and flow down again.
